Key Duties:

  • Responsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to industrial accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment ranging from 100 HP to 5,000 HP
  • Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in industrial applications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support on HVAC construction job by reading and interpreting blueprints as needed by foreman to ensure a timely and quality completion of the project.

The HVAC Technician handles the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all related facility equipment, such as refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating units. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains relevant logs and documentation
  • Calibrates temperature control sensors, receivers, and transmitters
  • Responds to emergencies
  • Inspects HVAC systems and their components
  • Effectively monitors and adjusts interior environments via a building automation system
  • Makes designated rounds, documents equipment operating conditions, and identifies and reports non-compliant conditions
  • Performs advanced preventative maintenance functions
  • Completes root cause analysis on troubled equipment, correctly troubleshoots problems, and makes appropriate repairs
  • Shows proficiency with the procedures/processes required to effectively test and analyze systems that utilize water treatment chemicals

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
  • At least 2 years of related industrial experience.
  • EPA 608 certification.

Position Summary: 

A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods including, but not limited to, materials, tools, machinery, and uniforms.

Pay Range: $18-$20

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

FACILITY & SAFETY

  • Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
  • Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
  • Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, take responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.

PURCHASING

  • Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
  • Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
  • Administers on-line purchasing systems.
  • Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

TOOLS, FLEET & INVENTORY

  • Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.
  • Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
  • Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
  • Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
  • Responsible for tool inventory and control: § Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools
  • Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.
  • Forklift operating experience/certification preferred.

This position would be a part of our Service department and would be responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers. A working knowledge of commercial & industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role.

Schedule:

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to industrial accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment ranging from 100 HP to 5,000 HP
  • Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in industrial applications
  • Use working knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of ammonia central systems, & control/alarm systems to perform inspections and preventative maintenance as required
  • Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience required (supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems)
  • Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
  • Universal EPA certification
  • Motor alignment experience
  • RETA 1&2 certification preferred
  • Company is a tobacco-free workplace and, as such, no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the jobsite(s).
  • Position requires a pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening
  • This position is a safety sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing
