Qualifications:
- 10 or more years related work experience

Title: Logistics Advanced (LO3)
Reports to: Fulfillment and Delivery Manager
Responsible for coordinating orders for shipping. Priority to be placed on customer service account requirements, commitments and shipping orders “on time.” This role requires the ability to locate and assign transportation providers to individual shipments based on factors such as transit time requirements, costs, service and create bill of ladings. Communicate with internal customer service to advise of issues and answer requests.
Maintain and report on all carrier and transportation issues, applicable to outbound activity.
In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:
Specific Duties/Essential Functions:
- Generates outbound orders and reviews on a daily basis, for shipments of orders with available product
- Reviews inbound inter-company truck list for potential shipments
- Maintains communication with finance on current customer hold list
- Maintains control of current customer hold list, and applies accordingly to outbound shipment
- Combines shipping orders to minimize freight costs
- Routes shipments per customer requests. Where a carrier is not requested, will follow routings established by the Fulfillment and Delivery Manager
