Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Summary:
Viox Services has an immediate opening for a HVAC Technician in Cincinnati, Ohio. The HVAC Technician will perform General and HVAC preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and service commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Must have experience working on package rooftop units, VAV, VVT, water source heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, exhaust fans, and preform compressor change outs. By self-performing or recommending future action to be taken to ensure a complete and efficient operating system. Must be able to work in a team environment and possess good oral and written communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes service reports, including recommendations for future work
- Must be well organized to keep accurate service and maintenance records
- Submits time sheet and paperwork accurately and on time
- Communicates effectively to determine needs
- Eliminates callbacks through proper analysis and accurate installation/repairs
- Utilizes all resources (office support, manufacturer, internet, other tech’s, subcontractors, etc.) to accomplish efficient and effective maintenance and repair service results
- Keeps vehicle stocked properly, tools managed and in good working order, and in an orderly fashion to be efficient. Keeps track of vehicle maintenance needs and schedules as needed
- Maintains company equipment as needed
- Flexible to work overtime, travel as needed, and be scheduled on the on-call rotation for off hour’s service
- The successful candidate will work as either a HVAC service technician or a member of an installation crew on replacement or new installation of commercial and industrial HVAC systems and equipment. Candidate must have strong customer relationships and team building qualities
- Understands control operation, including sequence of operation, troubleshooting, and reading electrical schematics and ladder diagrams
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Completion from an approved State Apprenticeship Program
- 5 to 10 years HVAC experience in commercial/industrial service and. General knowledge and repair of electrical required
- Must be willing to work any shift at random, as workload requires including double shifts.
- Must be willing to travel on short notice as workload requires.
