Primary Responsibilities
- Use your skills, knowledge and craftsmanship to complete most types of commercial projects including new construction, tenant finish, and remodel in a professional manner.
- Accurately read and interpret job specifications and submittals.
- Set/mount equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems, ‘B’-type and PVC venting, piping, low voltage and control wiring for units, set all units and fans, ERV’s, dampers, actuators, furnaces, fan coils, heat pumps, condensers, and have a working knowledge of mechanical code.
- Turn in accurate duct make-up as well as material lists to the shop in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret blue prints and specifications.
- Apply product knowledge and application skills as well as read/interpret product engineering, installation, and owner’s manuals prior to installation.
- Produce quality work while completing projects on time and within budget.
- Must have the ability to work alone or with a team.
- Share and contribute industry knowledge with Apprentices and Journeymen.
- Apply basic knowledge of mechanical code, quality control, and safety policies.
- Assist with cleaning work areas, as well as restock supplies and materials as necessary.
- Be accountable for work time, including clocking in and out of a job site at appropriate times daily; this includes time management.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of the US Air Force Academy (USAFA) Emergency Management program, ensuring effective prevention, protection, response, and recovery actions at the operational level to allow continued mission capability.
- Perform HAZMAT and/or CBRN responder duties including proper use of HAZMAT response equipment and PPE; identification of potentially hazardous, unknown substances in appropriate levels of PPE (i.e. level A, B, etc.); with working knowledge of HAZMAT, TIC/TIM, and CBRN detection and identification equipment. Maintain CBRN/HAZMAT responder and team support equipment.
- Manage, schedule, and conduct installation initial and recurring Emergency Management and Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) related training for USAFA disaster response force, specialized teams, and installation personnel.
- Support EOC and CBRN Control Center operations. Provide emergency management and CBRN/HAZMAT subject-matter expertise and support to the EOC Director, EOC Manager, Incident Commander, and other emergency responders.
- Support Squadron Commander deployment readiness program as the Unit Deployment Manager including reporting status, coordinating requirements, organizing and supporting taskings, coordinating training, and ensuring personnel meet all deployment requirements.
- Coordinate the review and update of appropriate plans and procedures in accordance with installation Emergency Management policies and instructions and USAFA, Air Force, and DOD instructions.
- Perform risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments as required and provide written findings and recommendations on corrective actions to the Readiness and Emergency Management Manager.
- Perform on-call duties and be able to report to work, prepare equipment, and support EOC or IC operations on short notice, 24/7.
Minimum Requirements:
- As a federal contractor, THTBC is subject to any federal vaccine mandates or other customer vaccination and/or testing requirements. All new hires are required to report their vaccination status and employment is conditioned on meeting all customer and contractual requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

- HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor or higher degree in the areas of Emergency Management (or equivalent) is highly desired.

Job Title: -- Commercial Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: -- Reports to Operations Manager and leads key initiatives in an assigned geographical territory to ensure the effective, efficient, and timely delivery and fulfillment of EFS’s line of services and associated products to dispersed and varied customers through the deployment and utilization of a proprietary facilities supplier network. Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment and grounds Conducts “face to face” relationship between EFS and supplier in the service of the client’s requirements. Utilizes multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and roofing, HVAC, and other skills as needed to solve maintenance problems. Maintains commercial properties by self-performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --
- Completes defined field inspections on a scheduled basis so as to incorporate feedback on supplier effectiveness and client feedback. Includes service inspections, and asset inspections. Performs assigned work orders according to schedule. Obtains necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
- Attends weekly toolbox safety meetings with Regional Manager and other associates. Utilizes mandatory safety equipment to perform tasks. Obtains and completes EFS required training.
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems (e.g. unclog toilets and drains, repair leaks in drains and faucets, replace toilets and faucet fixtures as needed, etc.) Performs routine painting, carpentry work, etc., as necessary to maintain our Client’s facilities in like new condition (e.g. repair a hole in dry-wall, prep the area, and match the paint to present a uniform and original like new appearance). Performs minor electrical maintenance as allowed without a license within state law requirements (e.g. repair or replacement of fixtures, wall switches, and outlets. Replace light bulbs, ballasts and sockets if necessary).
- Completes defined field inspections on a scheduled basis so as to incorporate feedback on supplier effectiveness and client feedback. Includes service inspections, and asset inspections. Performs assigned work orders according to schedule. Obtains necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
- Attends weekly toolbox safety meetings with Operations Manager and other associates. Utilizes mandatory safety equipment to perform tasks. Obtains and completes EFS required training.
- Meets and/or exceeds Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for internal metrics to measure safety performance, completed field inspections, effective use of technology, etc. Identifies out of scope work opportunities and presents to Operations Manager to be decided on.
- Creates a positive climate with the client, provides and generates customer satisfaction. Maintains timely and consistent communications with applicable Service Delivery and Procurement departments.
- Estimates time and materials needed to complete repairs and works with the Operations Manager so they can provide our Client’s a written quote for work that we cannot perform within our basic dollar approval limit.
- Fully utilizes technology (routing software, tablets, handhelds, and company vehicles) to drive productivity and continuous improvement for service delivery to our customers.
- Completes other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications: --
- HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred.
- Two to five years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience in one or more of the building trades. Past background in the landscape, janitorial or construction-related services industries highly preferred.
- Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status via our Handheld or other designated business process.
- Ability to use and operate handheld device and business systems or document management Database software, including but not limited to Microsoft office, Lotus Notes, MS office (word, Excel).
- Complies with all applicable codes, regulation, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain adequate knowledge of and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company safety policies at all times.
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Daily local travel between properties.

OBJECTIVE:
The Donation Services Associate is typically the first point of contact for customers that are dropping off items at retail centers. Supervises mechanics and utilities; monitors outside contract laborers
- Supervises mechanics and utilities, investigates, provides information, makes and administers decisions concerning employee discipline
- The Maintenance Foreman also has the responsibility of scheduling time off

- Works with Human Resources by participating in interview panels for mechanics positions

- Represents Transdev at first level grievances
- Schedules outside contract labor for special projects and monitors the laborers performance

Coordinates coach/fleet vehicle repairs, maintenance and servicing
- Schedules major and minor repairs
- Creates work orders for repairs to coaches, reviews past work orders for repairs to coaches, and reviews and closes current work orders
- Assigns work to mechanics based on work required
- Makes on-the-spot decisions regarding repairs; and, at times, makes on-the-spot repairs
- Consults with mechanics on diagnosis and procedures for repair and assists with technical questions
- Generates tracking sheets to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Monitors work for quality and quantity
- Works with Parts personnel to obtain the correct replacement parts
- Decides which coaches to pull-out or swap-out
- Lists and schedules the coaches ready for preventative maintenance when working the day shift

Tracks and analyzes data for various reports

Purpose and Nature of Work Relationships:
- Has extensive contact with others inside the organization; works with Radio personnel, operations supervisors, and dispatch to facilitate the maintenance and repairs of the coaches.
- Has moderate contact with others outside the organization; communicates with the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) regarding repairs and fare box problems; communicates with outside vendors regarding the repair/maintenance of the coaches.

Includes evaluation, development and integration of current and emerging technologies in support of national to tactical intelligence capabilities, including tactical and multi sensor fusion in support of USAF and joint warfighter requirements. Provide administrative, technical, operations and programmatic support to AF TENCAP project initiation, planning, execution, transition and close out activities.
Essential Functions
- Provides unique EW subject matter expertise in support of AFTENCAP technology development and integration including planning, direction, evaluation, and success of rapid prototyping projects, materiel acquisition and research and development technology initiatives involving the application of US National System capabilities in support of warfighter requirements.
- Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the specified functional area of capability to task order requirements, advanced mathematical principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at practical, innovative solutions.
- Leverage new technologies to enhance national capabilities for US and joint fighter, bomber, attack and ISR aircraft and munitions capabilities, including tactical sensor integration and multi-sensor fusion. Facilitate the transition of these capabilities, innovative concepts, technologies, and processes to operational use, capability integration or demonstration through the planning and execution of TENCAP projects, proof of concept demonstrations, and testing and integration of quick reaction capabilities.
- Supports government and contractor program managers by executing acquisition and program management tasks including planning, programming, budgeting, scheduling, financial management execution, contracting, cost/risk analysis, engineering, and logistics planning.
- Provide subject matter expertise related to any or a combination of: Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) including Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) and Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), Measures and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT), national agency U.S.C. Title 50 intelligence system collection and dissemination architectures, communities and assets, ground station operations, USAF weapons and sensors, tactical data links, and air surveillance capabilities.
- Provide support by performing research on potential shortfalls of multiple systems associated with national systems and support AF TENCAP in identifying and evaluating current technologies for potential application against validated shortfalls/requirements.
