Position Summary: To lead installation jobs for residential and light commercial customers, installing oil, propane, natural gas, and air conditioning/heating systems, and duct work to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high-quality performance and job completion on-time and in-budget.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Pass background check & drug screen
- Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
- 5 + years of installation experience
- 5 + years Job lead and supervisor experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Gas piping Certification
- Work well in teams and independently
- Good communication skills between dispatch and customers
- Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
- Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas, oil, propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and ductless systems
- Troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems rooftop units, EVR's, split systems etc.
- Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
- Experience in all HVAC low voltage systems
- Able to test and balance systems
- Understand and apply all codes for residential and light commercial applications
- Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customer as well as company

Responsibilities
As a Valve and Automation Technician, you will be responsible for the following, including, but not limited to:
- Acting as Production Manager responsible for assembly of all automated packages.
- Follow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage and transfer of product
- Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools and equipment in the Automation center.
- Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management and warehouse personnel
- Professional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packages.
- Ability to troubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs.
- Assist with developing automated valve sales training program
- Ability to perform functional automated valve testing, record and store data
- Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics
- Ability to multi-task and meet order deadlines
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control
