SUMMARY

Partner is hiring Sustainability Consultants to work as technical resources as part of our energy consulting team. The successful candidates will manage all aspects of project work related to energy audits, modeling studies, and Green Building certification and verification projects. We are looking for qualified candidates nationwide as this position can be based from either our Atlanta, GA, Los Angeles, CA or Newark, NJ offices, or remotely from another location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Green Building consulting services and analysis to support LEED and other green certification projects
  • Manage LEED and GPR documentation processes
  • Oversee data collection, field visits, and report writing
  • Perform benchmarking analyses
  • Manage a portfolio of green building projects, delivering them on time, on budget, and with technical proficiency
    • Plan project activities, update project forecasts, and maintain accurate records of project milestones

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Our client is a food processing plant located in Bell Gardens, CA. Due to their recent growth, they are looking to add to their production team. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • 2 years or more of HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Experience in residential cooling and heating, automotive refrigeration, air conditioning and heating is applicable.
  • Must be open to working and adapting to a food production facility
  • Must follow good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and good personal hygiene practices
  • Freezer inspection, trouble shooting and repair
  • Experience in Welding - Mig and stick is hepful
  • PLC robotics, Fanuc and Nachi is helpful
  • Can read blueprints / schematics
  • Electrical: conduit, 420 V, 3 phase, sensors, PVC work
  • Electrical: up to 480V, 3 phase motors, AC/DC circuits
  • Wire new motors to the production line
  • Forklift and reach truck capable
  • Hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems
  • Mechanical: cutting machinery, punch presses, boilers, conveyors, motors, chillers
  • Mechanical Work: conveyors, rotors, shafts, bearings, gears, installation of blades, etc.

Position may lead to leadership role for the right individuals.

Post high school education is desired

POSITION SUMMARY
The maintenance mechanic A position is a senior-level mechanic with 6+ years of maintenance background or strong demonstration of skill sets that will help ensure the clients facility and all equipment is properly maintained in a timely manner. This individual has exemplary knowledge in technical skills, trade skills, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment as well as leadership skills. The maintenance mechanic A will have strong work ethics and be able to communicate with maintenance leadership and respond to operation supervisors and managers. This position will be required to follow company policies and procedures with emphasis on safety and cGMP’s and follow instructions by maintenance leadership, and positively guides mechanic B and C peers to elevate the team’s knowledge.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for working safely, following company policies and cGMP’s.
Responsible for minor and major repairs of plant equipment in accordance with operation manuals and manufacturing specifications.
Disassemble and assemble production equipment beyond operator capabilities to replace defective or worn parts with new ones.
Troubleshoots equipment by following electrical schematics or blueprints.
Responsible for communicating directly with OEM on electrical troubleshooting of equipment. Demonstrated working knowledge of low voltage controls troubleshooting.
May set up and operate lathe, drill press, milling, grinder and other metalworking tools to fabricate or repair major and minor parts. May design and create parts for projects.
Performs minor and major preventive maintenance on all plant production equipment by following preventative maintenance procedures scheduled by the maintenance planner.
Safely operating a forklift and/or stand-up lift truck.
May be assigned other tasks by maintenance planner, supervisor or management.
Master of facilities equipment: air handler units, boilers, steam, DI system, etc.
Can lead projects within maintenance team and provide guidance to level B and C mechanics.
Demonstrated skills with Tig welding, soldering and plumbing work.
Capable and willing to handle Mechanic B and C level tasks when needed.
Participates as safety leader in operations and contributes daily to the plant’s safety goals and KPI’s.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of cGMP’s regulations.
Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification preferred.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Ability to read electrical schematics or blueprints.
Bilingual (Spanish) desired.
Ability to read and interpret documents in English.
Demonstrated in depth knowledge of mechanical, plumbing and electrical skills.
Familiar with nutraceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Mast of operation of maintenance tools: lathes, mills, drill presses, etc.
Demonstrated leadership skills in team setting.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum 6 years of manufacturing or packaging maintenance experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a cGMP’s environment.


COMPENSATION: $65k - $90k+ DOE
