About the role:
Performs maintenance and repairs on facilities and related equipment in plant or office as needed to maintain specifications. Provide a comfortable, safe, and clean working environment for employees.

- Monitor controlled environment areas and rooms. - Rotate on-call coverage 24 hours per day/365 days a year with other Facilities Technicians.
- Perform other duties as needed under the work direction of the Facilities Manager, Facilities Supervisor, and/or Facilities Technician III.
- May serve on teams or committees such as the “Hazard Response Team”, etc.
Required qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES
- This position will work up to 25 hours p/week

- Independently determining parts require for each job and interact with the Shop Parts Department to obtain.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist in cleanup at the end of each day for tools, parts, and equipment.

- Use hand tools, precision instruments, as well as Trailer tools, welding equipment, lifts and jacks.
- Document according to company standards and upload pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findings observed on Repair Orders (“RO”) using company issued device and/or Karmak application.
- Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most Standard Repair Times.
- Communicate with Shop Manager and support team to obtain approvals on repair estimates, retrieve purchase order numbers and/or discuss RO findings notes.
- Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, to include OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
- Participate and complete all-in company required safety training.
- Maintain Shop assigned service trucks, conduct safety checks and daily pre/post trip inspections.
- Perform minor adjustment and repairs on various types of trailer equipment and systems including, but not limited to the following: aluminum and chem-lite, trailer brakes, air lines, auxiliary pumps and engines, liftgates, and brake chambers, Trailer steering systems.
- Adhere to company policies, processes, and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet Cox Automotive Mobility minimum driving qualification standards.
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hrs. of hire
- Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
- OEM training and certifications are preferred.
- Must have generally less than 2 years of experience in vehicle service and repair experience or technical school education or equivalent combination of education/skill/experiences.

The Production Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintenance and repair of all Equipment and Facility needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Responsible for preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance of all production and facility related equipment. This is including but not limited to; presses, imaging lines, Die cutters, compressors, HVAC, affixing equipment, Chillers, humidification, cutters, packaging lines and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot issues and make repairs relating to production and facility equipment as necessary.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components, including but not limited to motors, drives, pumps, and control devices
• Assist in new equipment installation and existing equipment moves.
• Performs maintenance, service and repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, building repairs, and miscellaneous facility related items as needed.
• Able to set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools and other metal working equipment.
• Utilize and participate in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Work effectively as a team player with peers and other departments to improve quality, performance and productivity.
• Demonstrate willingness to accept direction from management and peers to improve quality, performance and productivity.
• Maintain the plant and office area to assure a safe and clean working environment.
• Assist in special project work as requested.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Related Post Technical education desired.
• At least five years work experience in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical repair. Manufacturing experience desired.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
• Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a Fast Paced Environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Valid drivers license

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible leadership of staff members, including; recruiting, hiring, training, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels for the department
- Perform supervisory tasks of a team, including resolving conflict, coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management
- Oversee the implementation of all waterpark property and equipment repairs and preventative maintenance, monitor life safety systems
- Oversees and ensures that the administration of the department is in compliance with all corporate and brand standards and all federal, state and local laws
- Oversees, delegates, and performs as necessary maintenance and repair work on the waterpark equipment
- Understands pool chemistry and general pool maintenance practices
- Completes and maintains certification training in Aquatic Facility Operator and/or Certified Pool Operator programs
- Perform tasks efficiently and in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
- Uses and reinforces safe chemical handling in addition to following and adhering to MSDS practices and procedures as outlined by GWR standards, OSHA, EPA, Green Seal, and Federal, State, and Local laws
- Plans and completes successful annual shutdowns by coordinating with the Aquatics Director, Director of Engineering, Lodge General Manager, and associated contractors
- Maintains records and documentation according to corporate, industry, and government standards
- Schedules staff to ensure operational excellence, while keeping within budgetary limits
- Follow and enforce procedures that ensure the security of inventory such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisions, etc.
- Monitor supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing waste and ensuring that equipment is prepared and operational for the next shift
- Monitors work order volume and prioritizes assignments for team as necessary
- Inspects work assignments by maintenance staff to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and within specifications
- Manages shift operations including staff scheduling, training and coaching.
- Assists the Director of Engineering in reviewing Market Metrix comments to follow up with any necessary actions for their area of responsibility
- Assists Director of Engineering in managing labor, forecasting, and inventory processes for their area of responsibility
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field (or equivalent education/experience)
- 1+ year supervisory/leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or waterpark maintenance
- Working knowledge of chemicals, tools, equipment, and supplies used in providing comprehensive building/water park maintenance services
- Successful completions of criminal background check and drug screen
- Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekends and holidays, as required

Duties of the HVAC technician / maintenance technician:

- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Capable of working independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of the equipment, tools, and materials used in building maintenance.
- Possesses a valid driver’s license
