Description
Rudolph and Sletten is seeking to hire a VDC / BIM / MEP Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating 3D MEP&F models to assist the project's delivery throughout design and Construction using Building Information Modeling. The Coordinator interfaces between design team and consultants, trades and R&S operations throughout the entire life cycle of the project(s). The position reports to the VDC/BIM Director. The position will allow the candidate to grow within the company in an innovative and collaborative environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead BIM Coordination meetings through the use of meeting agendas and minutes.
- Facilitate discussions around problem resolution while documenting the outcome
- Perform clash detection, ensuring project documents and models are coordinated.
- Develop and maintain clash tests, including search sets.
- Analyze 3D models to support pre-construction and constructability reviews.
- Provide value analysis through the use of BIM and recommend alternate solutions where appropriate.
- Participate in design coordination meetings with BIM Manager and provide technical expertise to project team members.
- Perform quality control checks on models and drawings.
- Enforce modeling protocol and standards developed by the BIM Manager of the project.
- Generate supplemental field construction documents for superintendents, project managers, and foremen to improve field performance.
- Track design changes and manage BIM revision log.
- Assist project team members in the use of BIM technologies.
- Provide training for BIM software for project teams.
- Follow directions from the project's BIM Manager for essential duties for the project's success. This may include job site visits, scope gap modeling, and hosting additional meetings.
- Assist BIM Manager in recommending the best Virtual Design /BIM practices and optimizing the Revit model for project team
- Assist MEP Preconstruction team with Cost Estimating and reviews.

Roles / Responsibilities
- As a member of the Facilities Department, this position will support the day-to-day operations of the department.
- On-call in the event of an unforeseen emergency (e.g. flood response, freezer failure, etc.).

- Facility techs to ensure work is completed correctly and on time
- Maintains emergency on-call services for the facility and responsible for communication with Security personnel

We are seeking a School Coordinator to assist the Music Director with various administrative tasks needs onsite at our 4S Ranch Location (Thornmint Rd). Some of those include:

- Filtering our prospective hire database, and occasionally interact with existing families through phone/email.

This position CANNOT be remote and DOES require onsite presence.
This is a 4-hour weekday part-time position Monday- Friday. The hours are 11am - 3pm.
This is an ideal position for a candidate (perhaps a parent/guardian) whose work-life balance would mirror that of the Poway Unified School District (we are closed when PUSD has breaks/vacations - with the exception of June 15 - August 15 where we do close for 2 weeks, but are open the rest of the summer).
Personnel
- Post positions for, screen, attend interviews (with management), and provide feedback if candidates should attend an in-person 2nd interview at our studio.

- Encourage, train, and provide resources to New Hires in their training progress.
