Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter authority for Valve and Automation products and provide consultative product selection recommendations
  • Create and maintain consultative sales relationships with new and existing clients, including providing product suggestions and expertise, conducting client and job-site visits, and collaborating with partners at all levels to promote Ferguson products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside sales, field technicians, and customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience of sizing of control valves and automated valves, a plus
  • Experience reading blueprints, specifications, or drawings, preferred
  • Strong proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications
  • Intermediate Excel skills, such as pivot tables, a plus
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at multiple levels of the organization

          • Previous Maintenance Leadership experience in a hotel setting is required - a minimum of three years
          • Have a solid understanding of all phases of hotel engineering - plumbing, electrical, HVAC certified, certified in boiler maintenance, preventative maintenance, etc., and will be able to effectively delegate work and tasks to subordinates to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel
          • Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills
          • Play an active role on the hotel leadership team including participation in the MOD program

          Position Information

          • Property Information – Unit count ranges from 160 units to 233 units in Northern, CA.
          • Schedule – Tuesday - Saturday 7am to 4pm - Additional hours/days may be required based on property needs. This position requires you to physically be at the property during your scheduled shift.

          Qualifications

          • 1-2+ years' experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance required.
          • Must be experienced in the unit turn process from start to finish.
          • Must have experience in tracking and maintaining inventory.
          • Must provide your own basic hand tools – the Company will provide power tools.
          • Customer service experience required.
          • CPO certification preferred.
          • Must be able to speak, write and understand English.

          A Day in the Life

          • Must be able to exemplify and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment to evaluate quality of work.
          • Assist in getting units "rent ready".
          • Abide by safety requirements at all times.
          • Safely use chemicals and equipment as a part of everyday duties.
          • Maintain grounds, work and storage areas and dumpster areas on a daily basis to ensure curb appeal up to company standards.
          • Paint and clean as needed to ensure timely unit turnover.
          • Ensure lawns are mowed and trimmed and entryways, walkways and driveways are blown and free of debris.
          • Ensure equipment is serviced on a regular basis to maintain safe operations.
          • Must be able to be on-call for emergencies or snow removal.
          • Maintain and enforce all company policies and procedures as established in the Operations Manual.
          • Must be able to clean units as needed
